Voice Cloning allows you to digitally replicate your voice, making it available in your Hour One account's voice library for use in your projects. This feature helps personalize your videos and make them more unique.
Availability
Voice Cloning is currently available for Business Plan users and up.
Getting Started with Voice Cloning
To create a clone of your voice, follow these steps:
- Prepare a script or story: Having a prepared script to read through will make the recording process more efficient and consistent. Or, if you feel more comfortable talking about a life experience (doesn't matter the topic!) then that is fine as well!
- Set up your recording environment: Find a quiet room with no background noise. Use a high-quality headset or microphone, positioned about a fist's distance from your mouth.
- Record your voice: Access the Hour One editor, then select the Voices tab on the right menu bar. At the top of the voices library, click 'Clone Your Voice'. Record at least 2-3 minutes of clean audio in a loud and clear voice.
- Submit your recording: After submission, expect your digital voice clone to be available within 1-2 business days. This voice will be exclusive to you or your team and will not be accessible to others.
💡Keep in mind! The pace, cadence, and rhythm of your recording will affect the overall tone of your finalized voice clone. For example, if you record in an enthusiastic cadence, your voice clone will sound more enthusiastic.
